Hi, I'm Sonya

As a first-generation American, I know how hard it is to navigate a job in corporate when you have no idea what you are supposed to do. I used to think that as long as I worked hard at my job my efforts would immediately be recognized and rewarded. It wasn't until I hit a plateau in my career that I realized putting my head down and quietly working would no longer cut it if I wanted to move into a leadership role.

I needed to be strategic.

In order to climb the corporate ladder, you need to be seen as a leader, and as someone who is capable of taking on and owning projects. People need to know who you are, and how valuable you are to the organization. It's on you to create that for yourself - not every manager will be a good people leader, but don't let that prevent YOU from taking your career into your own hands.

In this guide, I am sharing the 5 secrets that helped me go from being constantly passed over for promotion, to leading and managing my entire department in just a few short years. I have also included additional tips for introverts because I know it can be a bit more challenging for us. Each step also has a challenge, to help you implement what you learn. I encourage you to do the challenges weekly and with someone to help hold yourself accountable.
